With a strong tradition and record-breaking participation in previous years, this tournament is a key stop on the Romania Grand Prix circuit, offering a competitive classical chess experience.

About Romania Grand Prix Arad 2025
Beyond the competition itself, the Arad Grand Prix stood out as a complete chess festival, offering a wide range of side events that enriched the overall experience. Participants could take part in activities such as football and table tennis tournaments, a wine tasting trip, Fischer Random and blitz competitions, blitz pairs and bughouse events, as well as educational and interactive formats including the “Education through Chess” Kids Tournament, a solving competition, and a pub chess quiz.
